USDA-supported Agriculture Statistics Portal Boosts Georgia's Agricultural Data Accessibility and Analysis
On June 27, with support from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GEOSTAT) launched its newly developed Agriculture Statistics Portal. The user-friendly, interactive online portal makes it easier for data users to access, analyze and understand Georgia’s agricultural situation.
The launch of this portal is part of a larger USDA program to assist GEOSTAT and the Ministry of Environmental Protection & Agriculture (MEPA) to improve the Georgian government’s capacity to collect, analyze, and disseminate agricultural statistics.
