USDA training for Ministry of Agriculture officials fortifies Georgian economy USDA (April 11 – 25)


In April, two officials from the National Food Agency of Ministry of Agriculture of Georgia received two weeks of training in international trans-boundary animal diseases in New York.  The training, which includes observation of clinical symptoms and conducting hands-on necropsies, provides the most comprehensiveusda_002 and practical way to study the diseases with the most impact on international trade.

It also helps the Ministry of Agriculture improve its strategic planning for animal health to make them more in line with EU Association Agreement and DCFTA standards.
